On March 22, public festivities took place in Ust-Kamenogorsk, in the square in front of the Friendship of the Peoples’ House, hosted by the Mining and Metals Company in cooperation with the Friendship House and the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan.
Various entertainment activities and performances were organized for people of different ages. National dishes and sweets were served in traditional Yurts.
Company employees and their families also celebrated the Nauryz near the Ust-Kamenogorsk Metallurgical Complex where they were offered to participate in contests and enjoy concert performances.
In addition, Kazzinc provided a prize fund for the two major festive events held in Ust-Kamenogorsk: “Best Yurt” competition and “Jastar Nauryz Fest” for youths.
