Process Flowsheet

Sulfuric acid is produced when utilizing sulfur bearing gases of Zinc, Lead and Copper Plants at three areas using different technologies. Utilization of Zn Plant gases based on technology developed by “Giprochim” Institute. The technology was adopted in 1955.

Utilization of Lead Plant gases based on technology developed by Haldor Topsoe Company. The technology was adopted in 2005.

Utilization of Copper Plant gases based on technology developed by SNC Lavalin Company in 2007. The technology was adopted in 2011.
