Kazzinc is a leading lead producer in Kazakhstan. In 2019, the Company produced 129'000 tons of lead.

The Company mines in Ridder and Altay produce lead-bearing ore. Zhairem polymetallic deposit in Karagandy Region is also rich in lead.

The mined ore is treated at three concentrators wherefrom lead-bearing concentrates are sent to Ust-Kamenogorsk Metallurgical Complex. Refined lead as a finished product is the result of smelting and other pyrometallurgical processes.
