Kazzinc, Ust-Kamenogorsk Metallurgical Complex, was visited by Daniel Rosenblum, U.S. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan. The head of the diplomatic mission was told about the work of the largest company in the East Kazakhstan region. He also managed to see the process of precious metals production.
At the beginning of his visit to the metallurgical complex, Daniel Rosenblum noted that he had already heard about Kazzinc as one of the largest suppliers of non-ferrous metals in the Republic. The Ambassador was interested in the production of zinc, lead and precious metals - as Kazakhstan is one of the world's largest exporters of such products.
Alexandr Khmelev, CEO of the company, thanked the Ambassador for the visit and talked about the work of the mining and metallurgical divisions. By the way, there are many organizations from the United States among Kazzinc’s foreign partners that supply major equipment, consumables, and spare parts.
Daniel Rosenblum was especially impressed by his visit to the Precious Metals Refinery. The head of the diplomatic mission took a picture with a bar of refined gold to remember his visit.
