On the Metallurgist Day Olzhas Bektenov, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presented national awards during his visit at Ust-Kamenogorsk Metallurgical Complex.
The Order of Kurmet was awarded to Zhanat Zhanbotin, the CEO of Kazzinc Ltd. This order is awarded to those who have outstanding accomplishments in economics, social performance, science, culture, education, and who demonstrate active community involvement.
Amantay Raisov, Copper Plant Furnace Operator, and Nurzhan Tanirbergenova, Supervisor of Ridder Concentrator, were also recognized with the Order of Kurmet, which they will receive in Astana.
