The Video Surveillance Center in Ust-Kamenogorsk where people with special needs work was recognized as the best social project of the year within national competition "Paryz” designed to reward businesses with high social responsibility. During the award ceremony in Astana Kazzinc received one of the most prestigious awards established by the President of Kazakhstan for the successful implementation of this initiative.
As you might know in April 2023 dozens of hearing-impaired individuals received an employment opportunity. The largest industrial producer in East Kazakhstan Region launched its Video Surveillance Center for monitoring safety at operation areas. People with special needs watch the real time video stream from the surveillance cams using special view monitors. The project was implemented jointly with the Kazakhstan Association of the Deaf.
This new Kazzinc business unit has already proved its efficiency - since its foundation it has recorded over 350 deviations.
This project of Kazzinc was nominated for the Paryz award. The award is presented to Kazakhstan businesses for their outstanding accomplishments by the head of the country. In this case the best social project got the award.
