The driver fatigue monitoring system was installed in the mining machines and trucks used by Altyntau Kokshetau JSC, a large gold producer and one of Kazzinc asset.

The system detects location of driver's eyes and line of vision, absent-minded behavior, fatigue or drowsiness, and generates an alarm with recorded warning speech. Then the system transmits the information on a cellular network to the dispatch system. The dispatchers track the deviations in the driver's behavior and talk to them on radio.

The system is able to archive the generated data to be further used for traffic analysis or identification of drivers who work unsafely.

The total number of driver fatigue monitoring sets installed in the vehicles used by Altyntau-Kokshetau is 59, including 33 sets in the mining machines and 26 set in the service machines and shuttle buses.
