The 150th UG mining electric locomotive was assembled at Kazzincmash, the machine factory of Kazzinc in Ridder. The first electric locomotive was manufactured there in 2001.
The decision to start this product line was made in 2000. At that time the factory was challenged to produce electric locomotives for Kazzinc mines.
In 2007 the first locomotives were exported. The locomotives include safety systems which we have designed to be reliable and easy to operate.
