Kazzinс sponsored the environmental action “Protect and Preserve the Fir Tree” in Ridder, East Kazakhstan region. The campaign organizers - employees of the local nature reservation are encouraging local residents not to use natural fir tree as decoration giving preference to an artificial option on the threshold of the New Year. A special creativity competition has been held for many years for this purpose. This year, the participants presented 250 different works where they colorfully demonstrated why it is important not to cut down conifers. Kazzinc prepared gifts for the winners and laureates in various categories.
The nature reservation management would like to note that the felling of fir trees during the New Year holidays in local forests has decreased because of the competition.
