The largest industrial company in East Kazakhstan jointly with the regional Department of Education and Valeological School presented a TV series of educational films on environmental topics. This is a quite unusual series of films for juniors where the main character named Valeoshka tells why protecting environment is so important.
The series tells pre-school and junior school children what the environment and ecology mean, how natural phenomena appear and how human beings impact on the environment.
This set of video lessons was created by Kazzinc jointly with the team of professionals: Valeological School supported by International Academy of Ecology. The series was designed in alignment with the sustained development principles and it contributes to formation of responsible attitude towards the environment.
The first season of the series will be distributed to East Kazakhstan schools. Teachers will use it both in their classroom sessions and in out-of-class activities. This content is good for home studies too. The films have been already published on Youtube for the parents.
