The largest industrial company in East Kazakhstan Region continues to support public health facilities during COVID-19 pandemic. Kazzinc provided oxygen for medical purposes to help severe case patients.
Ust-Kamenogorsk Municipal Hospital No. 4, where the covid hospital is deployed, is in great need for liquid medical oxygen due to the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases. The hospital addressed Kazzinc asking for help in providing this vital component to their patients. The Company made a decision to provide liquid oxygen for medical treatment of patients with coronavirus pneumonia. Metallurgists will share several tons of the essential component on a weekly basis.
Oxygen is used by smelters for technical purposes, namely for production and smelting of certain non-ferrous metals. Relevant laboratory tests were performed to confirm that this oxygen fits for medical use.
