The “Digitalization for Industrial Health and Safety” Forum was for the first time hosted at the Ust-Kamenogorsk Metallurgical Complex.
Miners and metallurgists, as well as the relevant governmental authorities participated in the Forum. The Ridder Mining and Metallurgical Complex shared the successful implementation of the remote control system for mobile equipment. Colleagues from the Altay Mining and Concentrating Complex demonstrated the possibility of issuing and managing electronic work orders through a regular smartphone. Metallurgists from Ust-Kamenogorsk presented a Contractor Management digital system.
The hi-tech initiatives have been appreciated by the Industrial Safety Committee at the RK Ministry for Emergencies.
Earlier, Kazzinc was one of the first in the country who has opened access to digital resources for representatives of the Ministry for Emergencies, for their inspectors to monitor metallurgists’ and miners’ safety.
