The mining company is now headed by Zhanat Zhanbotin. He earlier held the position of Chief Financial Officer.
Zhanat was born in 1980, has university degrees in Mining Engineering and Economics & Finance, and a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA).
He started his career in banking sector progressing from a specialist to a Head of Lending Department. In 2007, Zhanat joined Vasilkovsky GOK JCS which later merged with Altyntau-Kokshetau JSC (a Kazzinc subsidiary). He had been in the role of CFO of Kazzinc Ltd. since 2021.
