Kazzinc granted the awards to the most courageous East Kazakhstan citizens who won “Izgi Zhurek” award during the ceremony.
The award established by the company in 2018 is aimed at rewarding courageous East Kazakhstan citizens who risked their own lives to save other people. A vote for the top three was held on a special website for three weeks.
The winners received statuettes and prize money (1 million tenge) on the big stage of the Sports Palace.
Rizabek Kanapiyanov and Manarbek Auganbayev rescued a man from a burning house last summer.
Serviceman Tilek Kumarbekov rescued a drowning boy.
Kairat Cherepanov took three kids out of the fire in January.
After the awards were presented, popular singers performed on the stage for Kazzinc employees.
