At the end of October 2023, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Akimat of Kokshetau, Kazzinc Mining and Metallurgical Company and its subsidiary Altyntau Kokshetau. The document sets forth the obligations of the parties to build a new school in the regional center.
900-space educational facility will be built at the site of the existing school No. 10 on Auezov Street. Dismantling of the old building that does not meet the requirements will be provided by the city Akimat. The construction of the new school will be financed by Kazzinc, the organization of the process on site will be provided by Altyntau Kokshetau.
