Danil Feklistov, an employee of Ridder subdivision, KazzincMash - won the regional WorldSkills competition in the ‘CNC Lathe Work’ nomination. He became the best one in his work area in East Kazakhstan.
WorldSkills is an international competition in professional skills. Participants in the competition are young people of various professions up to the age of 22 - from construction workers and mechanics to IT specialists and cooks. Each person confirms his/her skills by completing complex tasks.
In order to win, the contestants had to prepare the machine for the allotted 4 hours, install the necessary tools, write a program for manufacturing a unique part according to the drawing proposed by the competition committee, and get the finished product. Kazzinc employee coped with the difficult task faster than anyone else - in 3 hours and without a single mistake.
