Restoration work continues at the Thermal Power Plant in Ridder, where the mining and metallurgical subdivisions of Kazzinc are located. On January 19, another emergency situation occurred at the local TPP - the conveyor belt for coal supply caught fire.
Immediately after the incident, Kazzinc Ridder Metallurgical Complex sent 16 wagons with fuel oil to support the operation of boiler units without the use of solid fuel.
The machine-building division of KazzincMash, urgently began to manufacture necessary parts to repair the conveyor belt. Specialists of the company managed to design and produce 390 conveyor rollers, as well as other parts for the unit, in a very short time.
In addition, Kazzinc provided special clothes for those working at the TPP and who eliminate the consequences of the incident.
