Two sets of new equipment with the total value of 67M Tenge ($130K), have been installed at the Operating Unit of the Surgery and Traumatology Departments. The foreign made equipment will significantly improve the quality of surgeries, save time and efforts of medical personnel, as well as allow reduction of patients’ rehabilitation time.
The new operating table for the Surgery Department has the extended functionality: manual and remote controls, and also the possibility of connecting various modules for minimally invasive surgery. The equipment has come to replace the equipment that had been in use for over 15 years.
The Traumatology Department was provided with a special set with the orthopedic attachment enabling the full range of state-of-art operations. The powerful adjustable light fixtures have an emergency power supply. All the equipment was purchased at Kazzinc’s expense.
~3500 surgeries will be performed annually using this equipment.
