The forum on the development of partnership with small and medium size businesses was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Kazzinc shared its plans on future partnership and told about novelties that could be introduced according to the legal requirements, and signed some offtake contracts for the total value over 5 billion tenge.
Kazzinc is a major mining and metallurgical company in East Kazakhstan that actively promotes cooperation with small and medium size businesses. Over 10,000 contracts per year are signed between Kazzinc and Kazakhstan companies.
In the last 5 years over 5,000 domestic companies became partners of Kazzinc Ltd. During 2023, 80% of all goods, works and services were purchased from the local suppliers (including the items that are unavailable locally) for the total value of ~60 billion tenge.
During this meeting company representatives spoke about the current compliance culture, work standards for partners and the application of legal requirements.
