Kazzinc has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Akimats (local authorities) of East Kazakhstan Region and Ridder. The document sets forth the obligations of the parties to build a new school in the miner’s town.
Today the regional authorities pay great attention to the development of single-industry towns. Some of the most relevant projects are infrastructure and educational ones. Miners and metallurgists have supported the idea of building a new school.
Details of the project will become known in the near future. Ridder Akimat will determine the location of the future 600-space school, as well as provide communications and permits necessary for the construction. The construction of the educational facility will be financed by Kazzinc.
