With Kazzinc assistance the ‘Ak Tai’ Foundation for Children with Disabilities from Ust-Kamenogorsk has been developing hippotherapy and adaptive equestrian sports in Kazakhstan for many years.
The largest team of athletes with special needs (20 people) trains in East Kazakhstan region.
They successfully defend the honor of the republic at international competitions – they win medals and cups from other countries.
Recently the Republican competitions for the Equestrian Federation Cup finished. Participants from six regions of the Republic took part in this event that was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
The event has been held in the regional center with the support of Kazzinc for the eighth time.
The Cup is the only sporting event held in the country where participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities can take part, and those with musculoskeletal disorders, it is a unique opportunity to undergo classification.
The next event the Ak Tai foundation working on is the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Paralympic Dressage to be held in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
