The Central Library of Ust-Kamenogorsk has launched a unique project. The movies here can be watched by those who are unable to see normally.
The picture is brought to life for the visually impaired by typhlo-comments - a special audio description of what is happening on the screen. These are the details - what the characters look like, where they are and what they're doing. Special notes are heard during the pauses.
This unusual idea has been realized by the aid of Kazzinc. The metallurgists equipped the library with a high-quality audio system and a modern screen for the visually impaired.
The creators of the project plan to organize a special film club for children and adults, as well as film festivals, games based on films and much more.
