JSC Altyntau Kokshetau, one of Kazzinc's operations located in Kokshetau, uses special software to define ore reserves in the open pit. This technology allows us to make projections for the future.
To upgrade our mine planning and designing processes Altyntau Kokshetau introduced OPMS software. Preliminary results prove that prompt, detailed and accurate scheduling saves time for all departments.
OPMS comprises three modules - one to process geological data, the others to simulate trucks’ haulage routes and schedule mine activities. With data being provided to all departments: Gold Recovery Plant receives ore grade and tonnage, Production Operations – mining volumes by periods, Cost Controller – calculated profit and losses.
