Metallurgists helped the “Stout Heart” shelter, which is located in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The organization takes care of the dogs. Mostly animals that are unable to survive without human help get here. Today there are 125 dogs. Only five volunteers work here - each of them has a main job and they are engaged in saving dogs’ lives in their spare time. So, any help is welcome here. Kazzinc funds were used to lease the territory, treat and sterilize dogs, address some utility issues and provide food for the animals. Last year, thanks to the “Stout Heart”, more than 40 dogs were saved and found new owners.
