Suresh Vadnagra graduated from The University of Western Australia with a major in Mechanical Engineering. He then graduated from Southern Cross University with a major in Management. With nearly 30 years of experience, in 2024 Suresh Vadnagra joined Glencore as the Industrial Lead of the Zinc Department and is now responsible for Glencore’s Nickel and Zinc operations globally. Suresh brings with him significant international experience having worked in Australia, South-East Asia, Africa, the Pacific, South and North America and Europe. Prior to joining Glencore, Suresh was the Chief Technical and Projects Officer for Newcrest Mining Limited where he was responsible for core value generating. Prior to that Suresh was the Executive General Manager Operations with MMG Limited. Within MMG he also previously held the roles of the President of Las Bambas in Peru and General Manager Sepon in Laos. Suresh holds a Master of Business Administration, a Post Graduate Qualification in Sustainable Energy Development and is a qualified Mechanical Engineer.
