Born in 1985. Timur graduated from the East Kazakhstan State Technical University with a degree in Non-Ferrous Metallurgy and then from the Kazakh-American Free University with a degree in Management.
In 2008, joined Kazzinc as a Lead Refinery Operator at Ust-Kamenogorsk site.
Over the years, he worked as a Copper Smelter Process Engineer, Lead Isasmelt Process Engineer, Head of Ust-Kamenogorsk Operations, and Lead Smelter Director. He rose through the ranks to become Deputy Executive Director, Metallurgy /Chief Engineer of the Kazzinc Metallurgical Complex.
In March 2026, he was appointed Executive Director, Metallurgy / Director of Metallurgical Complex. Prior to this, he held the same position as Acting Director.
