2001 – Graduated from the Rudnensk State Industrial Institute with a major in Power Supply, Electrification in Industry. 2014 - Graduated from the Kokshetau State University n.a. Sh. Ualikhanov with a major in Mining, and gained additional qualification in Management and as a Master of Business Administration.
2001 – Started his career at the Vasilkovsky MCC JSC as a 5th grade assistant excavator operator in the open pit. In different times, Yerkebulan worked as Mine Supervisor, Crushing Superintendent. At Altyntau Kokshetau, he worked as Crushing Superintendent in the open pit, Crushing Plant Manager, and Chief Engineer at the Gold Recovery Plant.
2022 – Executive Director, Operations, Zhairem MCC JSC.
Since 2024 – Chairperson of the Board.
