The Metallurgist Day celebration took place in the Ust-Kamenogorsk Sports Palace under the umbrella of the Year of Working Professions. Participants were offered different fun games, contests, meals and greetings by an android.
Winners of the “Kazzinc. Success Stories” contest were awarded during the ceremony. Six employees were awarded 500,000 tenge certificates. Among them are Aslan Turgambayev, Zlata Vakhrusheva, Alisher Raimkhanov, Әlischer Sabioldin, Kamila Turgunbaeva and Sandugash Domebaeva.
“Izgi Zhurek” prizes were traditionally awarded to the most courageous East Kazakhstan residents. A statuette and one million tenge certificate were awarded to Zhanasbek Permabek - the National Guard serviceman rescued a sinking girl in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
The second prize was given to Almas Yelmes - the student stopped a brutal knife attack in Ust-Kamenogorsk, disarming the attacker and holding him until the police arrived.
The third prize was given to Yerasyl Omarkhnov - the student pulled a child out of the icy cold river in Ust-Kamenogorsk and assisted in resuscitation.
The festivities concluded with a concert where Rahman Satiev, Zhandauren Ablayev and Maruv performed.
Festive events were also organized in other communities where the company operates.
