More than 50 schoolchildren, currently training under the Kazzinc-supported RoboBastau project, participated in the event.
During the qualifying round, the students demonstrated their skills across several engineering disciplines.
The winning teams will now head to the international robotics championship, Robotek Grand Tournament Astana, which is set to take place this May in the capital of Kazakhstan.
