The tournament in Ust-Kamenogorsk brought together 75 chess players from 20 countries: among them more than 20 Grandmasters, 35 International Masters. The competition was sponsored by Kazzinc Ltd.
Oskemen Open 2025 is only the second stage of the Kazakhstan Cup. Next step - the chess players will participate in the August games in the city of Konayev, late autumn there will be the Grand Final of Kazakhstan Chess Cup 2025, where the 12 best players will meet.
