The results of the II Republican Field Olympiad were summed up in Semey. Within the project 15 teams of schoolchildren from Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Abay, Zhambyl, East Kazakhstan and other regions conducted field studies, identified rocks and minerals, participated in quizzes and creative competitions.
The winners in both team and individual competitions were determined by the jury. Kazzinc provided support in the organization of Zhas Geologist Olympiad.
