Kazzinc regrets to inform that one of the employees involved in the incident on 5 May at the Ust-Kamenogorsk Metallurgical Complex passed away overnight in hospital because of injuries sustained in the incident.
Our deepest condolences are with the family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time. The operation is providing support to those involved and to our employees.
Remediation of the site and ongoing investigation in concert with the authorities continue to progress.
The Ust-Kamenogorsk metallurgical complex is currently operating with a temporary reduction in Zinс and Lead production capacity.
