Sagyngali Khamitov, Head of the Mining Operations Planning and Development at the Zhairem Mining and Concentration Complex, was recognized as the best in the 'Mining Engineer of the Year' category.
The winner in the 'Mine Operator of the Year' category was Murat Sabitov, an LHD machine operator from the Ridder-Sokolny Mine.
The award presentation took place as part of the 16th International Congress and Exhibition – Astana Mining & Metallurgy (AMM).
